Buckram is a heavy-duty cloth fabric that librarians prefer for preserving their books in their permanent collections. The fabric wraps strong binders board to produce the rigid hardback cover. The binding is a Library Binding Institute standard adhesive or oversewn product (Class A Library Binding) suitable for most books.
